HYPAR takes the security of information seriously with polices and processes in place to protect personal information that we have under our control. Cybersecurity measures are in place to ensure personal information stored electronically is secure and copied information is stored in secure locations. We take all reasonable steps to protect information from the risk of misuse, loss, unauthorised access, interference and disclosure.

All personally information no longer required is removed from our system and destroyed appropriately.

In the unlikely event of a data breach, HYPAR will notify persons affected and the Office of Australian Information Commission under the Notifiable Data Breach Scheme. Access and Correction of Personal Information

In line with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 staff and participants have a right to request access to personal information that HYPAR holds about them and to update or change personal information about them if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out-dated. The request is to be made in writing. At any time, you can write or email us directly at the contact details below and will respond as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving your request.

HYPAR reserves the right to deny a request to access or amend personal information if we believe this reasonably poses a risk to the safety of any individual. A denied request will be notified in writing.

Any information collected is for statistical purposes and to help make the site more useful. You are able to browse anonymously during your visit to our website.
