What activities are available?
Camping, rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, bushwalking, and heaps more.
What skill level do you have to be to take part in activities?
We support participants of all abilities from beginner to expert.
Are your services available to females as well as males?
Yes, HYPAR Wild provides service to both males and females.
What do I need to bring?
Depending on the activity, you may need different items (a list of what to bring for each activity will be provided in your starter pack or notified before), however, sun-smart clothing, water and a packed lunch are generally required across all activities. HYPAR WILD provides all equipment for each activity.
What age do you have to be to access the service?
Participants must be at least 6 years of age to engage in activities.
Is there 1:1 mentorship and supervision available?
Yes. Participants are supervised by mentors at all times while on activity, with 1:1 support available.
How many participants are in a group
Group activity programs can vary from 2 to 10 participants, with weekend camps varying from 1 to 3 participants and a 1:1 support model.
What areas do you operate in?
HYPAR WILD currently operates from the southside of Brisbane up to the Sunshine Coast, and the surrounding South East Queensland region.
Do your day activities take a full day?
Not always. Some 1:1 activities may only run for 4 hours at minimum while group activities are a minimum of 6 hours but can be a full day.
How many days and nights do your weekend camps run for?

HYPAR Wild activities are billed in line with NDIS price guide recommendations due to the tailored supports our team provide.

What activities are available?

What skill level do you have to be to take part in activities?
We support participants of all abilities from beginner to expert.
What age groups are eligible for your services?
We can facilitate group activities from age 8 and above.
What is your minimum and maximum numbers for group activities?
Group activities generally have 3 members at a minimum and reach up to 12 participants. Larger groups can be assessed by a case by case basis, just reach out to let us know your group size and requirements!
What qualifications do you hold?
Our Mentors are qualified to facilitate and guide group activities. They are also experienced youth / support workers that implement therapeutic practices to achieve better outcomes.
Are there any additional fees for transport, equipment or accommodation?
Equipment and accommodation fees are factored into our overall quotes. For larger groups, transport can be organised upon request for an additional fee.
Can your programs be customised to fit the specific needs of our organisation/participants?
Absolutely! We tailor our programs to meet your needs so just reach out and let us know what you want to achieve or need support with.

What are your prices?
Pricing for group activities and organisations can vary depending on the staffing structure and the length of activities. We’d be happy to discuss this with you and can provide a free quote if you are interested!
What safety measures are in place?
Our HYPAR Wild program follows strict compliance and safety protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. Activities and locations are risk-assessed ahead of time and weather conditions are also factored in on the day. We hold all the appropriate qualifications and insurances to facilitate these activities in a safe manner.
NDIS Participant FAQs
How can we access the service?
Give us a call or use the contact form to get in touch. Or if you prefer, the participants support coordinator can contact us on your behalf.
What are the therapeutic benefits of outdoor mentorship and adventure activities?
We use outdoor mentorship to engage participants in adventure activities, using the natural environment as a therapeutic tool in our supports. The purpose is not the activity itself, rather the learning opportunities provided by the activities and being surrounded by nature.
Desired outcomes include the development of personal responsibility, cooperation and relationship building, intrapsychic outcomes, social skill acquisition, psychological resilience, and personal growth attributes such as self-awareness, self-efficacy and self-confidence.
What is the NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. It provides funding directly to individuals, offering choice and control over how, when, and where their supports are provided.

Are you an NDIS provider?
Yes, HYPAR WILD is a registered NDIS provider, meaning NDIS participants can utilise their plans and funds to access our services.
Do you need an NDIS plan to access the service?
No, other options are available. Child Safety (*respite care) participants can also access our service, with fee-for-service and private funding options also available. Based on your circumstances, we can help recommend further funding options, like Carer Gateway, but please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your options!
What are the fees?
HYPAR Wild activities are billed in line with NDIS price guide recommendations.
What qualifications do your instructors hold?
All staff hold relevant qualifications to be able to run their respective activities.
What disabilities do you cater for?
We assess on a case by case basis but mainly support psychosocial disabilities. All participants are required to engage with our assessment process after which we will advise if we are able to safely and effectively provide service to the participant.
How is participant information kept confidential?
HYPAR adheres to and upholds all legal and lawful privacy obligations and will only share your information where legally obliged to do so or at your request.
